Use these slash commands in your Discord server to manage Deskcord:

Usage:
/subscribeOpens a menu where you can choose between the Solo ($9.99/month) or Team ($49.99/month) plan. You'll be redirected to Stripe for secure payment. Includes a 7-day free trial with no credit card required.
/setup
Get your widget embed code
Usage:
/setupGenerates your unique embed code to add the Deskcord widget to your website. Copy the provided script tag and paste it into your website's HTML before the closing </body> tag. The widget will appear automatically on all pages where you include the code.
/set-destination-channel
Set your support channel
Usage:
/set-destination-channelRun this command in the Discord channel where you want to receive customer messages. This channel will become your support inbox - all customer conversations will appear here as threads. Make sure the bot has permission to create threads in this channel.
/manage-subscription
Manage your active subscription
Usage:
/manage-subscriptionOpens your Stripe customer portal where you can upgrade/downgrade your plan, update payment methods, view invoices, or cancel your subscription.
/set-main-cs-member
Assign customer support seat (Solo plan only)
Usage:
/set-main-cs-member @userFor Solo plan subscribers: designates which Discord user can reply to customer threads. Only the assigned user will be able to send messages to customers. Perfect for solo founders who want to ensure only they handle support.
/resolve-conversation
Close a customer conversation thread
Usage:
/resolve-conversationMarks the current thread as resolved and closes it. The thread will be archived and the customer will see the conversation as completed in their widget. Use this when a support ticket is finished.
/customize-widget
Customize your widget appearance
Usage:
/customize-widgetOpens a configuration interface where you can customize your widget's colors, header text, and branding. Changes update instantly on your website.

Getting Started
Installation is simple: 1) Click 'Add to Discord' and authorize the bot on your server, 2) Subscribe to a plan using /subscribe, 3) Get your embed code, 4) Paste it on your website before the closing </body> tag. You'll be answering customers in under 5 minutes!

Using Deskcord
When a customer sends a message, a new thread appears in your Discord server. Simply reply in that thread like any Discord conversation! Your messages are sent instantly to the customer through the widget. You can reply from desktop or the Discord mobile app.
Yes! Just attach images or files to your Discord messages in the customer thread, and they'll be sent through the widget. Customers can also send you attachments.
You'll receive Discord notifications just like any other message! Make sure your Discord notification settings are enabled. You can reply from your phone using the Discord mobile app - perfect for on-the-go support.
Absolutely! All messages are stored in Discord threads. You can scroll through the thread to see the entire conversation history. If you cancel Deskcord, all your conversations stay in your Discord server forever.
By default, Deskcord uses your Discord name and profile picture when replying to customers. However, you can set a specific name and profile picture per-server using Discord's Server Profiles feature. Privacy & Security
All messages live in your Discord server, not on our servers. We don't store any message content. Discord handles all infrastructure, encryption, and compliance. Your data stays with you.
No! Customers interact through the widget on your website. They never see Discord or need to create an account. It's completely transparent to them.
Since all data lives in Discord (which is GDPR compliant), and we don't store messages, compliance is simplified. You control your data in your own Discord server.
Troubleshooting
Check that: 1) You've pasted the embed code before </body>, 2) Your subscription is active, 3) Your browser isn't blocking scripts, 4) You've hard-refreshed the page (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R).
If you're on the Solo plan, only the designated user can reply. Check who's assigned using /set-main-cs-member. If you try to reply as someone else, your message will be deleted with a DM explaining why.
Verify that: 1) Your subscription is active (check with /manage-subscription), 2) The widget has the correct app_id in the embed code, 3) Your Discord server is online and the bot has permissions.
